Bellon revealed a number of moods and an extremely sensitive perception. The artist enters the landscape with the outline of a jaunty figure doing a handstand. A mixed media artwork shows life from the angle of a pigeon perched on the pavement and gazing up at legs of all shapes and sizes hurrying to the metro. A still life worked with oil on canvas is a beautiful source of tranquillity with figs depicted in deep, cool tones against a light, dappled background.
